My tax dollars not at work

FDA knew of issues at spinach, peanut butter plants

"In the peanut butter case, an agency report shows FDA inspectors checked into complaints about salmonella contamination in a ConAgra factory in Georgia in 2005. But when company managers refused to provide documents, they left and failed to follow up.”

So, my wife and infant son were violently ill for two weeks because the FDA failed to follow up? What the hell am I paying taxes for? Can I take deduction for the work I missed taking care of my son because the FDA can’t do it’s FUCKING JOB! It knew of a problem with a peanut butter factory and failed to follow up? A staple in the diets of most American children and it failed to follow up? The Commissioner of the FDA, Dr. Andrew C. von Eschenbach should be fired at least if not summarily executed by salmonella poisoning “for the children”.
