I got to shake hands with Senator Fred Thompson today at the event at Hobby Airport. I must say that he has a handshake that this man would be proud to vote for. I especially liked his story about how when Texas was founded all the Tennesseans that could read moved here.

Also, there today supporting Thompson was our Attorney General, Greg Abbott

And no poltical event would be complete without the token nutjob, who was reported to be a supporter of the Supreme Nutjob, Ron Paul, by Fox26 news. She was escorted away by the Five-Oh, but not arrested.

To his credit, Thompson answered her question about his involvement with the North American Union before the organizers had her removed. I believe that many of the other candidates would have ignored such a hostile question.
